Original Broadway Cast with Jim Dale and Glenn Close:

Originated the role of the One-Man Band. Also played the roles of The Ringmaster, Bailey, Scudder, Goldschmidt and was popular for his improvised comedy performed in the pre-show.

Also sang on the original cast recording on CBS Records. Music by Cy Coleman (also a producer of the original production). Lyrics by Michael Stewart.
